Thomas is a senior analyst covering the Chinese corporate universe, trade, industrial policy and equity markets. He joined Gavekal Dragonomics in 2012 after graduating with an MBA from Tsinghua University (Beijing) as valedictorian of his class and a Beijing Government, Tsinghua and Volkswagen scholar. Previously, Thomas spent two years as a Research Associate with MWM Consulting in London. He joined JP Morgan's London-based 'structuring and solutions' team in 2006 as a Financial Analyst after graduating with a first-class honors degree in English Literature from Oxford. Thomas also has an MA with distinction in Medieval Cultures from Birkbeck College, University of London.
