An honors graduate from Brown University with a master’s in international economics and energy markets from Johns Hopkins SAIS, Nate has worked in China for over two years. Prior to joining GK Dragonomics in January 2011, Nate worked for Sindicatum Carbon Capital, a carbon trading house and energy project developer in Beijing, and in the Asia Pacific division of Frontier Strategy Group, a strategy consultancy based in Washington, DC. Fluent in Mandarin, Nate’s work at GaveKal focuses on supply/demand fundamentals in the Chinese energy markets, import demand, and the impact of energy prices and shortages on economic growth and inflation.
