Andrew joined Dragonomics in 2011 and heads the day-to-day coverage of China's economy. He has lived and worked in China since 1998, and was previously the chief China economics correspondent for the Wall Street Journal. Raised in a small town in southeastern Louisiana, he earned his degree in anthropology at Reed College, and later studied Chinese in Nanjing.
