After graduating with Bachelor degrees in Finance and Law from The University of Auckland, Warwick moved to Sydney to join strategy consultancy Bain & Company. Warwick transferred to Bain's London office in 2002, and stayed with Bain in London until 2006. He had a sabbatical in 2003/04 and during this time completed his MBA at INSEAD. Warwick left Bain in 2006 to join London-based hedge fund Pendragon Capital as an Investment Analyst. Warwick then moved to Hong Kong and joined GaveKal in 2010. Warwick enjoys outdoor adventure sports and watching the All Blacks be the best rugby team in the world.
